Hi, was heißt "Verbesserung" bezogen auf eine Klassenarbeit? D.h. wenn die Schüler selbst eine Verbesserung machen müssen?
Correction? Aber so heißt doch auch das Korrigieren des Lehrers, oder?
Danke
Pia

a "Verbesserung" was an exercise in wich you looked closely at the teacher's editor's marks and marginal comments, then rewrote the marked-up sentence or paragraph incorporating those corrections. What you did was make a 'revision' or, in more colloquial AE, a 'rewrite.' It was a good exercise, because it prepared you for the ineluctable reality that there'll always be someone who edits your work. :-)
Answer:
In Britain - corrections (plural) when you have to redo the part with the mistake (as mwk has described). #494371
