In einer Patentübersetzung aus offenkundig Japenglisch kommt der Ausdruck "inside-diameter part" in folgendem Kontext vor: In order to ensure strength when locked, one member from among the fixed member and the movable member is made to be fit into an inside-diameter part of the other member in the in which movement in the vertical direction is allowed. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das am besten übersetze. Ehrlich gesagt würde ich es am liebsten mit "hohl" übersetzen. Danke im Voraus für Eure Hilfe |

Where did they get this guy? The biggest error seems to be that the Nihonjin who wrote it had no training in mechanical terminology. He means that the fixed part has a detail which fits into a a moveable part with a hole in it (of a diameter which will accept the non-moveable detail) which allows some movenent. That's the best I can make out of it. There are redundancies in the test that do not help at all. One would need to see the blue/print to see what is going on, that is we have insufficient contextual information...again. |
