Frage: | Öse | |
Hi, what is Öse in the following context? When opening the perforation “the eye” from which the material is broken out of is easily splintered. The material can, however, be completely extracted. |
Antwort: | reinforced margin of a (small) hole | #577686 |
Antwort: | Material here must be the things inside the packaging - the electrodes, I assume. | #577690 |
There must be a word or two missing from the German, but I take it to mean - When opening the packaging, the "tab" that the product/electrodes has/have to break out of, must split easily. The product can be completely removed. I don't see the point of the aber/however - there's no contrast with the first sentence. |

I can't get the Material in the first half to be the same as the Material in the second half. It would make sense if the second half was about the backing of the packaging - that it can be removed completely from the plastic blister part. Is there a mistake in the first half? |

I think the 'aber' means that although the breakable covering splits, and thus remains attached to the pack (instead of coming away), nevertheless the contents can still be completely removed. |
