Frage: | Some /any | |
Hallo, ich habe es so gelernt. fragen und verneinte Aussagen any und bei Aussagesätze some Aber ich habe auch schön öffters ind aussagesätze in any gesehen. Das verstehe ich immer nicht. I am searching the streets for anyone who wants to have a good time tonight. |

So habe ich das verstanden, daher auch erstmal ohne Gewähr: Some: In positiven Sätzen = Aussagesätzen (Here is* some information about...) in Fragen, auf den man eine positive Antwort erwartet (Would you like some coffee?) Any: Bei den meisten anderen Fragen (Do you have any problems?) Bei verneiten, negativen Sätzen (We don't have a* choice., neues Beispiel: I don't hav any money...) Sätze im Sinne von "egal, was" (You can take any train., kein bestimmter Zug, alle fahren zum Hauptbahnhof) Ich denke das 3. trifft bei deinem Beispiel satz am besten zu, egal wer da auf der Straße herumläuft, hauptsache ich treffe jemanden mit dem ich Party machen kann) Tipp: any wird häufig in if-Sätzen verwendet *Korrektur laut Birgit |
Antwort: | anyone - irgendjemand, ein ganz beliebiger Mensch | #695996 |
someone - jemand ganz bestimmter, ein ganz besonderer Mensch "I am searching the streets for someone who wants to have a good time tonight" wäre auch ein völlig korrekter Satz, die Bedeutung würde sich jedoch im obigen Sinne verschieben. |

We don't have A choice |

Auch möglich, aber mit Bedutungsverschiebung: "Do you have some problem with that?" Hast du damit ein (ganz bestimmtes) Problem? (Ich nehme an, ich weiß ganz genau, was dir daran nicht gefällt, nämlich die Farbe, stimmt's?) "You can take some train." |

I don't see "you can take some train". "you can take any train" is correct, when it means "any train which travels to that particular station". "Haven't you got some cigarettes?" is a negative question when the answer must be "yes" because, for example, I saw you buy some a few minutes ago, and I hope that you will give me one |

Google: "take some train" (1,430,000 hits) Examples: ...Saturday: take some train to Paris (the one we needed is full), see the sights, spend the night;... ...I read, from Narita Airport, I can take some train to get to Tokyo 4; Ueno Stration. Is this correct? ... ...Or, you may take some train to Timisoara, and from there you may take a van which goes to Belgrade. That is much faster. ... |

not correct English (some train), however many g-hits there may be. It's probably meant in the sense of any train (doesn't matter which one) oops - just saw that in-cognito was there first ;) |

The advice, "Marry some man and have a baby", is different from "You can marry any man". Both are correct sentences, but "marry some man" implies that although there are many men to choose from, you still need to choose carefully, whereas "any man" is absolutely every man on earth, so you may just grab the first one who crosses your way. Same thing with the train. |

yes, of course, Romy. But I reckon it doesn't work with objects. Perhaps someone might know why |
