Moin! I have to admit that was a wonderful party I've ever attended. Danke! |

I have to admit that this was the most wonderful party ever. I have to admit that this was the most wonderful party I have ever been to. |

I have to admit that that was the best/most wonderful party I have ever attended/been to. You could use wunderschönste instead of beste. I'm not sure about the second half - I think there are more idiomatic ways of saying it. |

Wieso "allerdings"?

There is no comparison for "wunderschön" in German. So "wunderschönste Party" isn't ok. With "schön" (schöner, schönste) it is allright, though. |
Antwort: | Thanks, Salinchen - I thought I'd heard it used. | #712246 |
Antwort: | You may jolly well have heard it used, Joanne. Busy socialites may ditch the rules of German and go on about the wunderschönste Party ... | #712285 |
Antwort: | That explains it - I must spend a lot of time with busy socialites ;-) | #712308 |
