Frage:
gatecrash
von WalterMeder (DE), 2018-05-01, 09:40  like dislike  Spam?
A gatecrash is commonly thought to be the most fun part of a wedding. Sam and Alyssa's gatecrash surely made our hearts skip a beat.

(das) Hineinplatzen?  unerwünschtes Erscheinen? (das) Aufkreuzen?

Meinst Du die 2. Bedeutung? Das würde ich nicht zu übersetzen versuchen.
Der 'Gatecrash'?

4;Walter: All three of your suggestions are wrong. If the gatecrash is "the most fun part of a wedding," it has to be the slapstick comedy performance before the actual wedding. Klamauknummer bei chinesischen Hochzeiten or something like that.

Here's one of those 'most fun' gatecrashes. Starts at 1:05.

“funnest” instead of “most fun” works too.

It certainly does. Reminds me of the winning military tactic of getting there firstest with the mostest.

As a noun, GATECRASH means turning up unexpected and unwanted at a party, house or gathering, etc

4;Walter: The text in which you saw 'gatecrash' is part of an Asian-produced video on an Asian wedding. Therefore, the 'gatecrash' in your text is not an unwanted appearance. It is a scripted comedy performance at Asian weddings. The custom originated with Chinese people.

Why are you asking questions if you think you know the answer better than the people who try to help you? Sounds to me like you're trolling, nothing for ungood.

I really didn't know this video of this special kind of a Chinese wedding gatecrash.

In general, a gatecrash, gate crashing, gatecrashing, or party crashing is the act of attending an invitation-only event when not invited. A gate crasher therefore is the person doing the gate crashing.

OK, Walter. You posted: "A gatecrash is commonly thought to be the most fun part of a wedding. Sam and Alyssa's gatecrash surely made our hearts skip a beat."

I googled the phrase you posted and this was the top hit: https://vimeo.com/212519996. If you look at the text below the photo, there's your phrase. That's why I thought you had knowledge of that video. At any rate, interesting how new wedding customs arise and are spread by the internet.
