Mainly comma questions
von screena (UN), 2019-01-10, 21:48  Spam?
Hi all,
in 1-4 I'm not sure about my commas, in 5 I'm not sure about the emotional tone.

1 “The commentary specifies background assumptions like the purposiveness of nature and points to a stimulus induced free and self-maintaining flow (of an interplay between imagination and understanding) as prototypical mode of a ‘disinterested’ engagement in order to be able to relate the Kantian model to concrete psychological and neurobiological dynamics.” Is a comma missing between “engagement” and “in order to”?

2 “With this in mind, back to the Kantian proposal.” Is the comma ok?

3 “Accordingly the incompatibility with the general psychological and neurobiological research program should be improbable.” Comma required after “Accordingly”?

4 “In response, the commentary points to Kant’s conjectures about a continuity between “an orangutan or a chimpanzee” and human beings, and more specifically, to Kant's carefully situated narrative of a stepwise transition from “a stimulus for sex” towards the attitude of “taste for beauty”.”  Correct?

5 “In the best experiments otherwise inaccessible evidence can emerge without to touch or void the related processes of meaning construction. Exemplary there is unequivocal evidence for a sudden switch to a fundamentally different activation pattern (including the release of the default mode network from deactivation) for the group of the most moving cases of an aesthetic engagement (X, 2012).”  I wish to highlight the experiment as extraordinary positive. Does it work?

Many thanks in advance! Screena
