No one would say "as soon as it is easy for me".  What sort of person would say that they would do something only if it were easy?  What sort of person would do something for someone else only if it were easy?   It makes one sound lazy and thoughtless.  Does the German make the speaker sound lazy and thoughtless, or should we come up with a more appropriate translation?  Things one would say include "as soon as I can", "as soon as I have time", "as soon as I can find the time", and "as soon as I have a chance". Do any of those work?

"as soon as it suits me"  klingt ebenso unhöflich wie "as soon as it is easy for me".

"as soon as I can", "as soon as I have time", "as soon as I can find the time", "as soon as I have a chance", "as soon as I get a chance" klingen für mich besser.

4;Absender: The German is brash to the point of being rude, so the English needs to be brash as well. I think the suggested "as soon as it suits me" is a good match for a dictionary entry.

Of course, if someone asked you to proofread a reply to an invitation, your suggestions would be good ones. "As soon as it suits me" would probably not be a good answer to the question "When could you come and stay with us in our beach house for a few days?"

I can think of another context: A woman buys an extra slim dress. Her friend asks skeptically "Wann wirst du das tragen?" and she replies "Sobald es mir passt!" (As soon as it fits.)
